Equipment Condition
Hood raised and secured (TM 9-2320-280-10).
CAUTION
Cover or plug power steering gear and hydro-boost connections
immediately after removing hoses to prevent contamination.
Remove all plugs prior to connecting hoses.
NOTE
Ensure area around power steering port is clean before removing
hose.
1.
Remove hydraulic hose (2) and O-ring (5) from power steering gear port (6). Discard O-ring (5).
2.
Remove hydraulic hose (2) from winch outlet port (1) on winch (8).
NOTE
Ensure area around hydro-boost port is clean before removing
hose.
3.
Remove hydraulic hose (4) and O-ring (5) from hydro-boost port (3). Discard O-ring (5).
4.
Remove hydraulic hose (4) from winch inlet port (7).
1.
Apply lubricant to O-ring (5) and install O-ring (5) on hydraulic hose (4).
2.
Install hydraulic hose (4) on hydro-boost port (3).
3.
Route hydraulic hose (4) from hydro-boost port (3) to winch (8) and install hydraulic hose (4) to
winch inlet port (7).
4.
Apply lubricant to O-ring (5) and install O-ring (5) on hydraulic hose (2).
5.
Install hydraulic hose (2) on power steering gear port (6).
6.
Route hydraulic hose (2) from power steering gear port (6) along side hydraulic hose (4) and install
hydraulic hose (2) on winch outlet port (1).
