Equipment Condition
• Tailgate lowered (TM 9-2320-387-10).
• Cargo shell door gas spring removed
(para. 11-22).
Maintenance Level
Unit
1. Remove two locknuts (10), washers (9), and capscrews (7) from wheelhouse (8). Discard locknuts (10).
2. Remove capscrews (3) and (6), washer (5), strap (4), and bracket (2) from wheelhouse (8).
Refer to para. 10-56 for plusnut (1) inspection and installation.
1. Apply sealing compound to threads of capscrews (3) and (6), and install bracket (2) and strap (4) on
wheelhouse (8) with washer (5) and capscrews (3) and (6). Tighten capscrews (3) and (6) to
75 lb-in. (8 N•m).
2. Install bracket (2) on wheelhouse (8) with two capscrews (7), washers (9), and locknuts (10). Tighten
locknuts (10) to 10 lb-ft (14 N•m).
