l Perform steps 1 and 2 for rear-mounted towing pintle.
l Perform steps 3 and 4 for optional towing pintle mounted to the front bumper.
1.
Remove cotter pin (31, slotted nut (21, washer (4), and towing pintle (9) from rear bumper (7).
Discard cotter pin (3).
2.
Remove four nuts (11, washers (111, capscrews (101, washers (111, two support plates (61, backing
plate (51, and safety chain plate (81 from rear bumper (7).
