whichever occurs first. Remove fill plug
and gasket. Level should be within 1/2 in.
(12.7 mm) of fill plug opening when vehicle
is on level ground. Install fill plug and
gasket, and tighten to 35 lb-ft (47 Nm).
CAUTION
Use Dexron® II for filling transfer case.
Failure to use Dexron® II will cause
damage to transfer case.
