l Front winch clutch rod removed (para. 12-31).

Remove nut (9) and lo&washer (10) and disconnect lead 7 (111 from starter terminal (81. Discard
lockwasher (10).
Remove nut (7) and lockwasher (6) and disconnect lead 6 (4) from starter terminal (5). Discard lockwasher (6).
Remove nut and lockwasher assembly (1) and clamp (3) from oil pan bracket screw (2). Discard nut and
lo&washer assembly (1).
Remove capscrew (241, clamp (231, capscrew (181, and bracket (19) from airlift bracket (20).
Remove nut (12), lockwasher (131, capscrew (151, and clamp (141 from frame bracket (301. Discard
lockwasher (131.
Disconnect vent line (25) from fitting (26) and remove three tiedown straps (27) and vent line (25)
from power cables (28). Pull cables (28) to front of vehicle. Discard tiedown straps (271.
Remove four retaining rings (391, two shafts (381, and rollers (401 from fairlead roller bracket (37).
Pull cable (36) through bumper (31).
Remove two capscrews (431 and washers (44) from winch (35) and bumper (31).

Remove two capscrews (41), washers (421, and fairlead roller bracket (37) from bumper (31). Lower
and remove winch (351.
Measure length of power cables (28) from clamp (29) on winch (35) to clamp (21) on bracket (19) and
record. Remove nut (171, lockwasher (161, capscrew (221, clamp (211, and bracket (19) from power
cables (28). Discard lockwasher (161.
Remove four capscrews (321, washers (331, and two brackets (34) from winch (351.
