Equipment Condition
l Turret pintle mount removed (para. 11-62).
l Night vision lid bumper bracket removed
(para. 11-58).

NOTE
l Note brush seals location for installation.
l For replacement of rivets, refer to para. 10-56.
Remove twenty-eight rivets (1) and two brush seals (3) from turret armor (2).
b. Installation
1.
Apply a small amount of sealant to brush seal mount holes (4).
NOTE
Ensure two rivet holes are left open for night vision lid bumper
bracket.
2.
Position two brush seals (3) on turret armor (21 and install twenty-eight rivets (1) (leave two rivet
holes (5) open).
3.
Seal butt joints of brush seals (3) with sealant.

l Install night vision lid bumper bracket (para. 11-58).
