• Hood raised and secured (TM 9-2320-280-10).

• Arctic heater assembly removed (para. 12-41).

1. Remove two capscrews (5), lockwashers (4), washers (3), and bracket assembly (2) from cowl (6).
Discard lockwashers (4).
2. Remove clamp (1) from bracket assembly (2).
1. Install clamp (1) on bracket assembly (2).
2. Install bracket assembly (2) on cowl (6) with two washers (3), lockwashers (4), and capscrews (5).
Tighten capscrews (5) to 8 lb-ft (11 N•m).
FOLLOW-ON TASKS: • Install arctic heater (para. 12-41).
• Lower and secure hood (TM 9-2320-280-10).
