REFERENCE INFORMATION
If no fuel arrives when cranking engine,
the diaphragm in the Iift pump may
be ruptured, allowing the fuel to
drain back into the tank.
There may be some water or dirt trapped
in the filter already that didn't come from
the fuel that is in the tank now.
Open the filter drain valve and sank the
engine for approximately 5 seconds to
purge the filter, then take a fuel sample in
a clear container.
Inspect the sample for water and dirt.
Replace fuel fitter, refer to (para 3-33).
