REFERENCE INFORMATION
None of the following instruments and
accessories should work when the rotary
switch is in the STOP position:
Volts gauge
Wait-to-start lamp
Temperature gauge
oil pressure gauge
Fuel gauge
Windshield wiper/washer
Brake warning lamp
If any of the instruments and accessories
work when the rotary switch is in the RUN
position, then power is available and the
circuit breaker is OK.

NOTE
The wait-to-start lamp is not an accurate
indication of glowplug operation. Make sure
the glowplugs are operating property
BEFORE you check out the light. Go to the
Glowplug Tests, page 2-303. Return here if
the light still doesn't operate property.
The wait-t-start lamp should come on when
the engine is below 120°F (49° C) and the
rotary switch is first turned to the RUN
position.
