WARNING
Dry cleaning solvent, P-D-680, is toxic and flammable. Always wear protective goggles and gloves and
use solvent only in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothes, and DO NOT breathe
vapors. DO NOT use near open flame or excessive heat. The solvents flash point is 100°F to 138°F
(38°C to 59°C). If you become dizzy while using cleaning solvent, immediately get fresh air and medical
help. If solvent contacts eyes, immediately wash your eyes and get medical aid.

Remove rust preventive compound from coated exterior parts of the trailer using dry cleaning solvent
(item 5, Appendix E) and a clean rag (item 10, Appendix E).

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.
The trailer is shipped complete and ready for use after completion of preliminary servicing and adjustment. No piece of
equipment is shipped separately; therefore, no assembly is required.
4-7.
PRELIMINARY SERVICING AND ADJUSTMENT.
a.
Perform all Operator and Unit PMCS procedures. Schedule the next PMCS on DD Form 314.
b.
Lubricate all lubrication points in accordance with Appendix G, regardless of interval.

If any system of the trailer does not operate properly, refer to troubleshooting instructions in Chapter 3,
Section II, or Chapter 4, Section IV
d.
Perform a break-in road test of 25 mi (40 km) at a maximum speed of 50 mph (80 km/h).
e.
Report all problems on DA Form 2404.
