Hood raised and secured (TM 9-2320-387-10).
General Safety Instructions
Do not drain fluid when engine is hot.

WARNING
Do not drain fluid when engine is hot. Severe injury to personnel
will result.
CAUTION
Cover or plug all hoses and connections immediately after
disconnection to prevent contamination. Remove all covers or
plugs prior to connection.
NOTE
Have drainage container ready to catch fluid.

Loosen two clamps (131 and disconnect hoses (7) and (101 from cooler ports (121.
2.
Remove tiedown strap (141 from oil cooler lines (11) and hoses (71 and (101. Discard tiedown
strap (14).
3.
Loosen clamp (9) and remove hose (10) from steering gear (8).
4.
Remove two locknuts (61, washers (51, and capscrews (11 from four ciamps (4) on hoses (71 and (151.
Discard locknuts (6).
5.
Loosen clamp (21 and remove hose (7) from control valve elbow (31 and remove hose (7).

Install hose (71 on control valve elbow (3) and tighten clamp (2).

Position hoses (71 and (151 with four clamps (4) and install two capscrews (11, washers (51, and
locknuts (61.
3.
Install hose (101 on steering gear (8) and tighten clamp (91.
4.
Connect hoses (7) and (101 to cooler ports (12) and tighten two clamps (13).
5.
Install tiedown strap (141 on oil cooler lines (111 and hoses (7) and (10).
