MOST COMMON PRO61 FM !
Sometimes just disconnecting,
cleaning, and reconnecting
will solve a problem.
BE THOROUGH ! The time you save
may be your own.
Refer to the functional flow schematic and check the
- make sure all connections are clean and tight.
This includes the interconnect cables, clamps, shunt, power
stud, and the slave connector.
Also check wires 6A and 7A
under vehicle where they enter shunt.
2. STARTER - check the high current (heavy gauge) wire at
the starter. Dont just check for voltage; a loose connection
will have voltage but cant carry much current.
There is a ring inside the
battery fill plugs. The water
level should be at the ring.
1. Start Test 67. Battery Voltage.
2. Displayed reading is in volts. Batteries should
be 23-25.5 volts. Batteries voltage will drop
when glow plugs turn on.
